Bill has been playing drums in live performance for more than 40 years. He has been a regular session drummer for TV, Recording and Radio studios. He has been a member of many Wellington bands including the Rodger Fox Big Band and the legendary 1860 Band, performing at the prestigious Montreaux Jazz Festival and touring Switzerland, New York, Los Angeles, Singapore and Australia.
He particularly enjoys teaching and feels great satisfaction in helping others discover the fun and excitement of drumming.
Eileen has played guitar most of her life, coming from a very musical family (a 9 piece family band!) She has been in school bands in primary and secondary. She has played in local music festivals and also a choir member in school, church and agencies in her home town. Although she has a degree in Business Administration she has chosen a career in music education as her most fulfilling vocation. She loves working with children or those of any age who have a passion to learn guitar. In addition to private teaching Eileen also teaches music theory and guitar performance in particular at Primary and Intermediate schools.
Above all, Bill and Eileen's desire for their students is that they experience all the fun and love for music that Bill and Eileen have had in their lifetime.
